Formed in 2014 by a Team of highly energetic and experienced industry professionals, Capstone Energy Services is proud to be a complete service provider to the oil and gas field industry with an emphasis on pipeline construction. Based out of Southwestern Pennsylvania with multiple offices and locations, we are able to serve both the Marcellus and Utica Shale formations. The Capstone Energy Services Corporate Management Team has over 75 years in combined experience, and draws upon that knowledge and expertise when making every decision. These men do more than sit behind a desk. They are out there with the Team offering guidance and support while also making sure the job is getting done. The Executive Management Team is young and innovative as well as knowledgeable and seasoned. This is what sets them apart. Chris Garcia

Chief Operating Officer

Chris obtained a B.S. from The University of Alabama in Psychology, graduating in 2004. He immediately started working in the Oil & Gas industry for a pipeline company focusing on CBM projects in the Black Warrior Basin. In 2006, he was hired by CDX Gas as a Construction Foreman. He transferred to Texas when he was promoted to Field Superintendent in the Barnett Shale. From there, Chris went on to become a VP of Operations for a major service company, focusing on growing their Marcellus operations and also helping to open operations in the Eagle Ford and Permian Basins. Chris was instrumental in helping to grow their business portfolio offering numerous services with an average of 600 employees.

Gentry Williams

President

Gentry has been raised in the gas field, and has been privileged to learn from the field into the office. Having the opportunity to work for a mid-sized construction company through college, Gentry was able to learn all the various aspects of the industry and worked all throughout the Southeast, Mid-West, and Northeast areas in the country. After graduating from The University of Alabama and working several more years in the industry, he formed Universal Pipeline, LLC with five initial employees, and focused mostly on CBM well services, pipelines, and general roustabout work.

Frank Patterson

Vice President of Pipeline

Frank has been building major gas and oil pipelines for over 20 years. He began his career in the industry as a laborer in 1990, with Patterson & Wilder Construction Co. and worked his way up through every craft including Welder-helper, Equipment Operator, Straw Boss, Tie-in Forman, Superintendent, and Project Manager. From 2006-2012 he served as the organization’s Executive Vice President, and Vice President of Operations. Frank has finished projects on time and under budget in some very challenging areas that include the Southeastern, Western, and Northeast parts of the United States.

Chris Hartley

General Manager

Raised in Cameron, WV, Chris is fourth generation of his family to work in the Oil and Gas industry.  Right out of high school he spent time with Columbia Gas Transmission, where most of the generations before him had worked.  He eventually transitioned to the coal mining industry as he worked his way through college.

After graduating from Fairmont State University with a B.S. in Civil Engineering Technology, Chris quickly returned to his roots in the Oil and Gas industry.  During his career, he has spent time with some of the most notable companies in the Marcellus and Utica Shales including EQT, Caiman Energy, Williams, and most recently Blue Racer Midstream.
