Gentry has been raised in the gas field, and has been privileged to learn from the field into the office. Having the opportunity to work for a mid-sized construction company through college, Gentry was able to learn all the various aspects of the industry and worked all throughout the Southeast, Mid-West, and Northeast areas in the country. After graduating from The University of Alabama and working several more years in the industry, he formed Universal Pipeline, LLC with five initial employees, and focused mostly on CBM well services, pipelines, and general roustabout work.
After experiencing rapid and expansive growth, Gentry sold his organization to a large construction conglomerate and focused efforts to continue servicing his same customer base and the development new ones. At the time of the transaction, his company had grown to over 400 people and worked with over 30 various oil and gas companies in the country, working primarily in the Northeast, with multiple locations throughout Pennsylvania and West Virginia focusing primarily on the midstream markets.
In 2014, Gentry was fortunate to team up with some of the brightest and most experienced minds in the industry and form Capstone Energy Services, LLC with Mr. Louis D. Ruscitto. Gentry currently serves as President of the organization, and continues to focus on building on his relationships throughout the industry, servicing all of the Marcellus and Utica Shale formations.
Gentry currently resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, Kimber and daughter, Saylor. In his spare time he enjoys golf, fishing, hunting, and Alabama football. Gentry serves on various boards, including St. Jude, YMCA, and Sewickley Presbyterian Church.
